San Marcos Pounded Spoon - Plain Design
This is similar to the San Diego in shape, but solid. This shank is one of my favorite for showing both the younger and the older horse. I like using this shank combined with any solid mouthpiece when I am riding a horse that is a little bit too "bendy" or when I want to work on getting my horse to move forward into its face and not bend sideways.
This mouthpiece is a great one to use on young horses when transitioning from a lose bit to a solid one or on a older horse with good feel that doesn't require a lot of bit. This spoon has really smooth edges so it wont scare your horse even if it's fractious in the face. Price: $300.00
