This is a mild shank with not a lot of leverage because of the angle that it sits in the horses' mouth. It is a loose shank and it will give you full lateral flexion of your horses neck and head. I use it both for training the younger horses and showing a horse that is a little stiffer laterally.
Even if this mouthpiece looks like a severe one, it's really not. You'll like the soft feel in your hands. I use it if I need more bite than the pounded spoon and by combining it with the different shanks it really adapts to many kinds of horses. Price: $350.00
